Hands-On Science & Chemistry

One of the things we provide that many homeschool parents really appreciate is “hands-on learning opportunities” such as fun messy science experiments and projects!

Students learn every step of the Scientific Method and how to apply it during weekly science experiments at school.  This year we are learning all about the anatomy of the human body and chemistry though Apologia curriculum in combination with the Van Cleaves 201 Experiments book.

Exploring Creation with Human Anatomy and Physiology is an elementary level Anatomy and Physiology book that gives glory to God as children discover all that goes on in their bodies from their heads to the nails on their toes! Beginning with a brief history of medicine and a peek into cells and DNA, your students will voyage through fourteen lessons covering many subjects.

This year we are learning all about the amazing human body created by God.  Students memorize interesting science facts, build their own human body structure, and enjoy lots of fun experiments to help them understand just how special they truly are in God’s creation.

I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. Psalm 139:14

Examining Bones

“Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered, “O Lord GOD, You know.” Again He said to me, “Prophesy over these bones and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.’ Ezekiel 37:3-4

8th Grade Science Experiments – Exploring Creation Physical Science

Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools. Ecclesiastes 7:9

The Bible teaches us not to act out in anger. So, overreactions aren’t cool… unless you’re a CHEMICAL!
